Biography:
TONY HARDIN (Scenic, Projection, & Lighting Designer) When he is not a freelance designer, Tony is an Associate Professor of Theatre at the University of Kentucky. There he teaches Scenic Design, Scene Painting, Stage Management, and Special Topics in Design.
In 2006, Tony was awarded the Marvin Simms Design Fellowship sponsored by KC/ACTF, and as a result spent time with Broadway designers, Ming Cho Lee and Constance Hoffman at the Kennedy Center for the Arts.
Professionally, Tony has significant experience as a Scenic and Lighting designer in a variety of venues around the country. Some of his favorite designs include The Threepenny Opera, Treasure Island, Eurydice, The Snow Queen, and The Neverending Story. Throughout all of this, he has been married to his wife of 18 years, Lisa, and has two daughters, Isabella and Olivia who continue to remind him that every day is extraordinary.
